View from bed in our 'mini NOC' that we had running before actually setting up at the venue hotel. CNN was on for most of the day; seemed like the only channel with something 'worth watching'.

Interestingly HITB is accessible from the speaker hotel (Sheraton FP) both via HTTP and HTTPS however at the venue hotel (Sheraton Dubai Creek), the site is only accessible through HTTP and its dead ass slow unless you make use of proxy1.emirates.net.ae; interesting.
